Birthday Bounty

Happy Birthday!
Don’t be ashamed of getting one year older. Many places like restaurants or stores that you frequent often and belong to a “membership” club in which you earn points or other goodies also give you something special for your birthday.
So far this year for my birthday this is some of the loot I received:
- $5 from DSW which I can use in conjunction with another type of rewards certificate.
- Free cream from Sephora ( no purchase necessary)
- Free desserts from a couple of restaurants if I purchase dinner
- A free stir fry for my birthday from Flat-Top.
This doesn’t mean that I will redeem all of them, but for places that I would frequent anyway combining the discounts is great.
I even mentioned in the comments box that it was my birthday when I made reservations for my birthday dinner and my dessert was comp’ed and I even received it with a candle in it.
For those of you who do not like to sign up for mailing lists or “store clubs” if you are asked for your birthdate you will be the one to reap the benefits.
If getting older is painful then at least free stuff for your birthday can make you feel better. [Personally, I love birthdays AND free stuff.]
